Characterful period group house

This is a pretty, period group house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms in a fantastic location in central Brighton. An inviting and homely place to stay, this holiday home is close to shops, restaurants and cafes and all that Brighton has to offer. The house is furnished in a traditional, yet stylish way, with quality furnishings. The kitchen has an Aga and a beautiful oak table that can seat ten dinner guests comfortably. A perfect choice for a family or discerning group of friends.

Description

All the bedrooms have excellent quality orthopedic zip and link beds so each room can be arranged either as a twin or a double. There are two sofa beds in the lounge; one is small John Lewis sofa bed and would only sleep one person comfortably. The other sofa bed is a double. There are also quality cube beds from the Futon Company, so if you had a friend or child who would rather sleep in one of the bedrooms the cube beds can easily be moved to the bedrooms.


This period house spans four floors and is a spacious and very comfortable family home. It is furnished in a traditional style and the owners have taken great care with accessories to create the perfect home form home for you to enjoy.

The Ground Floor

There is a large, long reception room with an L-shaped sofa (which is also a sofa bed), an additional good quality John Lewis small sofa bed at the far end and occasional seating. There is an LCD tv with freeview, a dvd player and wi-fi. This is a comfortable room for a family to sit and relax and with space at the far end for children to play or adults to sit in two groups.

Next to the sitting room is an additional utility area which has a washer/dryer and extra fridge. It’s a practical storage area and great for all those tv snacks and drinks so you don’t have to go down to the kitchen!

The Kitchen/Diner

The kitchen is on the lower ground floor and has windows either end so it still quite a light room. The kitchen is beautifully finished in a country kitchen style and has an Aga, a conventional oven also, a microwave, a retro style fridge/freezer, butler sink and everything you need to self cater. It has an oak dining table that seats six comfortably but there are additional chairs so twelve can just about fit around it. It is a sociable space with a great work island in the middle, perfect for the cooks among you!

The First and Second Floors

On the first floor there is a pretty landing area and then up a few more stairs and you come to the very spacious family bathroom with a Victorian roll top, free standing bath. The master bedroom is at the front of the house and is very spacious. It can easily accommodate one or even two of the cube beds. It has very good quality orthopedic zip and link beds, so it can be configured as a twin or a king size. Up to the next floor and there are two bedrooms, both a good size and both can be either twin rooms or doubles. Usually the beds in the property are made up as singles so please specify if you would prefer them to be king size beds. Next to the bedrooms is an additional shower room with a walk in shower cubicle.

  • All white bed linen, towels and bedding are provided for all beds, sofa beds and cube beds. Please specify at the time of booking if you would like the single beds configured as king size beds.
  • If you require a high chair and travel cot please ask. we do not provide bedding for travel cots.
  • Parking is not available with this property. There is an NCP car park nearby in Regency Square and parking is available by meter just nearby at the top of the road. You will not need a car as everything is within walking distance.
  • There is Wi-fi at the property.
  • All utility costs are included.
  • As with all our properties, smoking is not permitted in the house.
  • Pets are not accepted at this property.
