Pretty holiday apartment with vintage style

Very pretty holiday apartment in a very highly regarded location and beautifully styled in a vintage, rustic fashion. This one bedroom self catering apartment is beautifully furnished and has lots of character. It is a lower ground floor property with lots of light and space and is perfect for a couple or a family with a baby. In a great location not far from shops and the seafront but away from the bustle of central Brighton. It’s an ideal base for a holiday or for a short term executive let.


There is one double bed at this property but the bedroom is large and can easily accommodate a travel cot.

The interior of this apartment wouldn’t look out of place in a country homes interiors magazine. It has been beautifully styled, with warm Farrow and Ball creams on the walls, it combines stylish vintage pieces with modern comfort. Located in a highly regarded residential road in Hove, but a very short walk to shops, cafes and the seafront. This really offers the best of both worlds if you want to stay in Brighton but appreciate a quieter life too. It would be an ideal home from home for a longer term executive here for work or a for a couple.


The apartment is the basement of a large Victorian villa and the private entrance is down a few steps.

Living room

The living room has two very comfortable sofas and is a spacious room with a feature non working fireplace. Please note the television in the photos is being replaced with a larger one. There is a dvd player and Wi-Fi.

Dining room

A vintage dining table and chairs for 6 make this a quaint room for supper. If you like vintage country styling you will love this as even some of the plates and side dishes evoke back to a time when life was simple and very pretty!


The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to self cater. Exposed brickwork, original tiled floors, a butler sink and vintage curtains all add to a feel of a rustic, bygone age. There is a microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

The Bedroom

The spacious bedroom looks like it should belong in a French country house. Beautiful tones on the wall, a large French wooden bed and painted wooden floorboard, large sash windows and built in cupboards. Stylish and comfortable.


In keeping with the style of the apartment the bathroom has white tiles and is simple in style. There is a bath with a shower over it. The loo is separate to the bathroom and both are accessed from the dining area in the centre of the apartment.

Additional note

There are large storage cupboards accessed from the dining room so this is an ideal place to store suitcases. The garden at the back of the property belongs to the owner of the main house and there is no access from

  • All white bedlinen and towels are provided.
  • All utility costs are included in the price.
  • There is no parking with this property although there is parking at Hove train station which is a short walk away at a cost of approximately £25 a week. Please ask for details.
  • There is no smoking permitted in this property or in the outside doorway, so it would not be suitable for anyone who smokes.
  • We can provide a travel cot and high chair. Please ask at the time of booking. Please note we do not provide bedding for cots however.
