With high ceilings, wooden floors and floor to ceiling windows it makes the ideal place to take pleasure in the grandeur of Brighton. Complete with a small east facing front balcony, the apartment is the perfect place for a holiday..to relax, unwind and enjoy the spectacular sea view. There is broadband internet connection and, because of its central location, this is also a perfect apartment for relocation clients or executives.

Set on one of Brighton’s original tree lined avenues, Lansdowne Place is close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Pick up a coffee from the Meeting Place café on the beach front and enjoy a stroll along the promenade or try The Real Eating Company’s award winning Eggs Benedict, just situated at the top of Lansdowne Place. You’re spoilt for choice for lunch and dinner with The Lansdowne Place Hotel Restaurant just opposite, also Pascal’s Brasserie and the Ginger Pig are a short walk away.

The Lansdowne Place Hotel also has a lounge bar for early evening cocktails or if you prefer a more traditional pub there’s the Cooper’s Cask which has traditional Sussex ales and English fare. Late into the evening a short walk away are Vanilla or Koba for cocktails and dancing.

At the top of the road are independent grocers and delis if you prefer to dine in. Also, the apartment comes complete with a traditional picnic hamper and rug allowing you to dine al fresco on the nearby Hove Lawns or on the beach under the stars.

A description of the property

Lansdowne Place is tastefully decorated to a high standard maintaining the original grand Regency feel. The apartment is decorated using Cole and Son wallpaper and Fired Earth paints.

A traditional Regency mosaic path and steps lead to the entrance. A communal garden is at the right of the path. The East facing balcony is to the right of the steps and front door.

Hall
Just inside the property the hall provides space for hanging coats, bags and umbrellas.

The Lounge/Kitchen/Diner
This beautiful Regency room retains the original polished floor, floor to ceiling sash windows with original wooden shutters, white voiles and blue velvet drapes. The lounge is furnished with the original features in mind with a brown leather chesterfield sofa, ornate lamps and woollen rugs. The walls are white or papered with Cole and Sons damask Flock. To bring the property up to date a 32” LCD tv stands in recessed shelving (with Freeview and dvd) and a TEAC digital radio, TEAC cd player and TEAC amp.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to self cater and includes a cooker, washing machine and stylish fresstanding SMEG fridge. The dining table setas up to six people.

The Bathroom
The newly decorated bathroom is fitted with a contemporary suite, monsoon shower and mosaic tiles.

The Bedroom
The bedroom is decorated in rich romantic colours with Fired Earth paint. It is furnished with a Regency dresser and the white bed linen on the double bed is complimented by a crushed silk drape. The tall sash windows retain the period shutters and a large built in wardrobe provides storage.

Additional Information

All bed linen and towels are included. These are changed on a weekly basis. If you are staying for longer than a week we can arrange for the property to be cleaned for you at a small additional cost.

All electricity and gas costs are included.

If you would like champagne and flowers waiting for you on arrival or pampering treatments ready to indulge yourself all this can be arranged with us. We can also have a basic grocery pack waiting for you. Whatever your requirements we are happy to help.

Pets are accepted at this property by arrangement. There is no smoking inside the property but you can smoke on the balcony.

Price for the property
From £395 to £695 per week
Weekend breaks may be available and midweek Mon to Fri deals also available. Please ring us to discuss your requirements.

Price for other requirements such as additional cleaning services, welcome grocery pack, champagne, etc all by arrangement with us.

We hold a £250 damage/cleaning deposit that will be returned in full as soon as you leave providing there are no major breakages or damage.
